* The MAYO Clinic does not accept most Medicare Advantage Plans (MAPs).

Please note: Love My Nurse is not currently in network with any Medicare Advantage Plans (MAPs).

  • Medigap (Medicare Supplement Insurance) policies have higher monthly premiums, and typically little-to-no out-of-pocket costs for the patient at time of service.
  • Medicare Advantage Plans (MAPs) have cheaper monthly premiums, but deductibles and copays at time of service can add up to $3400 to $6700 in out-of-pocket costs per year.
  • Most seniors can save more money overall by choosing a Medicare Part D (Drug) plan that better suits their needs than by switching to a Medicare Advantage Plan (MAP).
